Can't see the characters-what am I missing?

June 21, 2007, 10:11 PMWell, you need some sort of Asian language support on your computer -- but you didn't specify your operating system. This can vary from a full-blown IME (which most of us use) or, if you merely want to see see the characters it is sufficient to add a Chinese unicode font. I'll assume Windows. Try this: Grab a free version of SimHei from: http://www.webpagepublicity.com/free-fonts/s/SimHei.ttf Download it and simply drop it into your Font folder. You'll find the Font Folder in START/Control Panel ... switch to "Classic View" and look for the folder labeled "Fonts".
