December 10, 2008, 06:42 AM夬 koat > kwai > kuai > kuai (guai)
决 khoat > khwai > khuai > khuai (kuai)
快 kiwat > kiwet > kiue > (jue)
As is always the case, the vowel "i" located after the consonant caused a big difference in modern sounds of this series characters. Both consonant and vowel of "快" changed drastically compared to other characters in this group.

December 10, 2008, 12:45 PMHi goulniky,
I'm a bit tipsy now, so let me tell you something. The long bar in the barcode represents "阳" (positive), and this usually means "a man". The two short bars indicate "阴", which indicates "a woman" in Yin-Yang thought. Don't ask me why. Good night.

December 10, 2008, 02:16 PMone bar could be for single-minded, two bars for open-minded, able to multitask (do several things at once :-))
