My friend Isobel who spent years in Taiwan, is battling cancer.
She requested that we make her a small drawing with characters that could mean:
To be alive to the fullest, to overcome, to be well and happy.
Would anyone be so kind as to make a suggestion?
Thank you,
Gene (cobre/per Spanishpod)

February 14, 2009, 11:27 AMmight I suggest:
追求完美的人生
zhui1 qiu2 wan2 mei3 de ren2 sheng1
which would be "live life to its fullest" or "pursue a full and ideal life"
I agree with Changye, perhaps one of the native speakers could help out here.

February 14, 2009, 05:05 PMThank you for helping. Yesterday they gave her good news, the radiation had destroyed the tumors in her brain and today they began chemo on the original tumor. It is of a type that has been cured in the past. We hope and pray.
Y gracias de nuevo para sus ayudas.
