I first wasn´t shure about the wig but after the helping comment saying that it´s "...the womans wig." Perhaps the main reason I prefer posting on the forum is because it's got an edit button. Not only to correct my own errors occasionally, but also for solid educational reasons. It can allow anyone's accidental misguidance to be corrected back at the source, not way down the page after you've already memorised that erroneous instruction and dealt with several rounds of confusingly debated corrections and eventually found and identified the place where consensus was reached. Making and correcting one's errors is an essential part of learning. Though in practice we still don't correct very much, knowing that we can changes everything. In how many classrooms does every spontaneous student blunder become googled against your name for posterity, with no power to correct it, ever. Therefore I claim that the "blog style" of disempowered posting, with no means of recovery by correction and no incentive to take big risks, is educationally unsound.
