Hi kimiik
According to the latest survey carried out in China, overseas tourists from the PRC show the highest satisfactory rating with Japan, closely followed by Australia, maybe partly because of a beautiful scenery of the Mount Fuji, hehe.

Speaking of "Love Triangle", when I click on the picture of the "happy chinese tourists", I see a picture of the Mount Fuji (富士山).

In this 三角恋, their love is based on "money", unfortunately. It's a kind of 政治联婚 (political marriage).

Henning,
Yes hyper-inflation is the plan and, of course, China saw that coming. As China will lose a huge amount of money, I guess there are currently some negociations behind the curtain. But negociations about what ?
If I head that some well informed Taiwanese are moving assets and traveling overseas, I would have the answer.

You know what everybody is actively striving for: A major hyper-inflation both in the Euro and the Dollar zone.
Bang.
All debts gone. Costs of stimulus packages? Taken care of. Indebted home owners? Happy.
And China? Holds a lot of funny looking paper in its mighty back pocket - with the value of the paper exceeding face value. And the same happens to my personal savings.

Right again! With the current economic situation, China kind of has the US in it's back pocket, especially with all the billions of dollars the US owes China.
Actually, I read online a few days ago that it is now 2.5 trillion dollars. That's hard to believe, but maybe.

That's a good point Changye. I guess the important thing for Taiwan is to maintain the U.S.'s military and financial support.

计划将军队削减五分之一以上
这是一个很好的主意。我得说台湾领导人还是很聪明,因为他们都知道这个计划不会影响到中台两国关系的大局,也就是说,无论裁军还是扩军,反正台军赢不了解放军!
