I would love to listen to some current music, but would also like to benefit from it by understanding the lyrics.
Thanks,

Chinese-tools has a section where they regularly post Chinese songs with pinyin, characters and a pop-up English translation when you however over the characters.
The link is www.chinese-tools.com/songs and they have the songs for download if you like them.
There isn't a big selection, but I hope this helps.

March 25, 2009, 01:19 AMMiniLyrics is very good. http://www.crintsoft.com/index.htm It links to many popular music libary tools such as itunes, media monkey, winamp. I found lots of popular chinese songs eg 蔡依林 - Jolin etc can be found. You can even save them to text files to convert from chinese characters to pinyin. Like karoke as the song progresses so does the words so you can sing along. Asianload is very good to sample lots of current chinese music from China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. http://www.asianload.com/
