does mandarin has a/some dialect of it self?
Yes, actually Mandarin has tons of dialects to start with.
Here are a few(but not all of them):
-Beijing dialect (notice the -er endings at most sentences)... even to the point of adding er's at most parts of the sentence.
eg: My microphone...
Standard: 我的麥克風。 (wo de mai ke feng).
Beijing: 我的麥克風。(wo3 de-er mai ke-er feng).
-Taiwanese dialect- slight omission/s of the h in sh,ch,zh.etc. And often identified with Taiwanese-exclusive 語氣詞。
eg: I'm nervous!
Standard: 我緊張啦! (wo3 jin3 zhang1 la1!)
Taiwanese: 我緊張ㄟ! (pronounced: wo jin3 zang1 ei!)
