Having a few troubles,

June 03, 2009 at 01:12 AM posted in General DiscussionI've just set up WLCP and i'm quite excited about using it, I seem to be able to download some lessons using the lessons.txt but the program keeps randomly closing and I can't download "introducing-shen-yajin-helen" at all now it always closes just after it attempts to fetch the HTML.
Anyway hope someone can help me as this program looks most useful.

After it tried to fetch the html it just closed, no message saying it had downloaded the lesson or anything nor did it try to continue on to the next lesson (as it can't download introducing-shen-yajin-helen)

I'm not sure what you mean by "randomly closing". Once it downloads the lesson it is supposed to close. Did it finish downloading the XML & mp3 files before closing? What lesson did you try?
Also, introducing-shen-yajin-helen is just News & Features, not a lesson (with dialogue, audio review, expansion sentences, vocabulary, etc). It's not supposed to work.

June 03, 2009 at 05:06 AMRoss, remove anything that is not a lesson (newbie, elementary, intermediate, etc.). You can't use WLCP for QingWen, News & Features, Poems With Pete, The Menu Stealer, etc.). Until you remove those from your list, WLCP won't download properly.
