quick review app

I can only get chinesepod quick review app (dictionary part) to work maybe 5% of the time.  Most entries that I entered either by pinyin or handwriting comes up with an search error message. Whether I have the internet on or not.  I understand it may not have all the entries in the world but even vocab that are in newbie or elementary lessons are not searchable.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
