This doesn't seem particularly funny, unless I don't quite get it but it has some useful vocab. ;)

　　我借了一盘英国喜剧《脱衣舞男》，正看到六个男子学跳脱衣舞，脱到最后一条短裤的时候，老爸进门了。我有点害怕，连忙解释电影的内容，是一群失业工人找不到工作，只好跳脱衣舞赚钱。严肃的老爸果然板起了脸，语重心长地说：“这些可怜的下岗职工啊！”然后就进书房了。

I understand it correctly, I guess it must be that the girl is scared her father will disapprove of the movie contain, but he only comments about them being out of work.

Maybe the dad means "oh, those poor unemployed workers, they're too poor even for clothes." But if so, it's way too subtle.
