Chinese Vocabulary & example (Say sorry&country)

Traditional Chinese Version:

When you are in China, somebody is asking you a question, how to answer him/her?

Use the following vocabularies:

我    I

抱歉   sorry

中國人  Chinese

英國人  English

法國人  French

美國人  American

 

例子example1:

Q:你好,請問XXXXXXXX?

Q:Hello, may I ask you XXXXXXXX?

A:抱歉,我不是中國人。我是英國人。

A:I am sorry, I am not Chinese. I am English. 

 

例子example2:

Q:你好,請問XXXXXXXX?

Q:Hello, may I ask you XXXXXXXX?

A:對不起,我不是中國人。我是法國人。

A:I am sorry, I am not Chinese. I am French.

 

Note:

抱歉 and 對不起 have the same meaning. It's means "sorry". It is a common word in Chinese.

Chinese, in English, it can means people from China and a kind of language. But in Chinese, there are two different words. "中國人" means people from China. "中文"or"普通話"or"國語" are means the language.
