How can I type "…"? (As in the three little periods sandwiched together.)

Thanks

The regular ellipsis mark (…) is Alt+0133 on a Windows machine. However, that's a Western ellipsis and I'm not sure it's the same character in Chinese. It'd be a shame if it broke the monospaced beauty of Chinese by being a nonstandard width. Additionally, a real Chinese ellipsis should be six dots (just use it twice) and centered vertically, but this might just be a matter of font choice, I don't know.

I'm looking forward to diving into Chinese typography when my reading skills are better (the language is just so much more suited to it than Western languages are).

Here goes: …… It seems to work when both using English and Chinese. Thanks Simon!

Hi Simon,

Speaking of punctuation, we're touching a big advantage of Baidu over Google : handle a punctuation search.

Interestingly, Baidu refuses "......" as an equivalent of "……" :

抱歉,您输入的内容“......”不在查询范围内。
