printing pdfs

I want to print out the dialogues/vocab lists/expansion sentences so I can read them on trains.

the pdf file font is too big and if I convert to a word document then the Chinese characters are lost.

By copying and pasting the web pages I get all sorts of crap in there like "show translation".

Is there a neat way around this, to print in small size not to waste paper, and a complete lesson...?

Have you tried, to print the PDF with the setting "print two pages on one sheet"?

I figured that this is quite a good setting for just reading. For writing as well, a normal printout is quite okay.

Another option is to click on the (text version) link at the bottom of the page, this takes you to an HTML version with less white-space plus you can copy & paste to your heart's content!
