Topic suggestion: medical terminology

February 07, 2010, 07:14 PM posted in General DiscussionHello there Cpod, Great lessons you have here. I'm a physician in Canada. Although I'm Chinese, I can't really speak much Mandarin. I've too many Chinese patients coming to me and it's hard to communicate medical terminologies. Any chance of adding lessons covering visits to the doctor?

There's an Upper Intermediate lesson with some good vocab. It's called "a visit to the doctor" or somesuch.

February 08, 2010, 12:01 AMNot a lot of medical terminology, but some helpful dialogue is here. I haven't been able to find anything even describing surgery, surgeon, scar, scar tissue, heal, time to heal...
