Hi Ellen,
Since we moved our clocks ahead a couple of weeks ago, I assume our lesson will still be at 9 pm US time (but 9 am China time instead of 10 am?).

I'm really interested in how the Chinese (particularly urban Chinese youth in Beijing and Shanghai) feel about Obama's visit to China, especially his 'town hall' meeting he just had with university studies in Shanghai. If you find any news articles written in Chinese about this, I would love to read it:)

I searched all the lessons. I'm sorry that we don't have politics lessons in Upper Intermediate level dialogues. But in Media lessons, we have some, but not very new.
I made a new lesson list for you. I think we could still talk about politics. How about you send me some news that you are interested in, we could discuss about it on our lessons. What do you think?

Hi, Karla
At present, our lesson time is Mon 9.15am in my time zone, which is Sun 9.15pm in your time zone. Since Nov 1st, you still do the lesson at Sun 9.15pm, that would be my Mon 10.15am, right? It's ok for me. :)

I'm currently 12 hours behind Beijing (currently in the Eastern time zone in North America (ie. New York, Boston, Washington). Once Day Light Savings time ends, I'll be 13 hours behind you. I believe this change takes place on Sunday, November 1st.

Hi Ellen,
So sorry about that - I was sleeping already at that time:( (I'm currently on a computer which isn't equipped with chinese characters, hence I'm writing in English).
How about 10 am Thursday (Beijing time). I can probably even do up to 11:30 am on Thursday. My jetlag is still terrible I'm afraid!

我刚从上海回美国了- 坐了15个多小时的飞机，所以非常累， 需要早点睡觉。可以改天吗？只要早上的时间就可以- 哪一天都可以。
