Happy National Day

Do you have to wish "Happy National Day" in England during the 23th of April (St George Day) ? It sounds really modern. I thought it was "long live the Queen" or "long live England".

In my experience, most people don't even notice St George's Say come and go. We don't have any holiday in England for it.

But it is National Day in China. Lampions everywhere, all buildings decorated with festival illumination, 人山人海 at 长安街 and 天安门广场. Endless singing & dancing on CCTV. :) 国庆节快乐

I'm going at the wrong time, by Friday when I get to Shanghai I guess it will be over.

Just the right time then goulniky hehe. That's why I'm going late October.

I think CPod staff posts might be sparse this week due to the National Holiday when everyone has the week off.
