Vocab for "to believe" and "to think"

I'm having trouble getting my arms around the concept of expressing, "I am thinking...", "I believe...", and "In my opinion...", etc. Is there a difference between "想 xiǎng ", "认为 rèn wéi ", and "认为 rèn wéi ". Also, what would be the best way to express, "In my opinion..."

Sorry...my last post had a little error in it...though the questions remains more or less the same.

"在我看来，……"would be the best way to express, "In my opinion... And"我想"、"我认为"、"我觉得"also can express such kind of meaning.

"我认为"is a formal saying while 我觉得and我想is more colloquial.

e.g   我认为旧的HSK考试不适合大多数汉语学习者。

        我觉得今天有点儿冷。

        我想你是对的。
