Hi Trevor,
I would like to make some small corrections here.
从来 mean "always"（kind of a habit）；从来不 means "never".
For example,
我的衣服从来都是妈妈买的。
他学习从来都很认真。
这个孩子从来不迟到。
我从来不喝酒。

is 从来 always used with the 都？ or is this just the case for your examples？
我从来问问题。 or should that be 我总是问问题

“从来”表示从过去到现在都是这样。It always used with the “都"。
从来 indicates “always”, but it's more about from past till now. 比如：
他从来都只吃肉不吃菜。
他们两个人从来都是互相帮助、互相学习的。
Yes, it should be 我总是问问题 。

用不用‘是’很难。用英语我们经常用"is"所以我有时用‘是’太多次。
I guess here there is no verb without 是, 对不对。

左撇子 is considered as a left-hand person. 所以 there should be a 是 in the aboved sentence.
比如说：
他是学生。不可以说 “他学生”。

I am not sure when I should use 再 and when I should use 又。
我不知道什么时候用‘再‘比用又 。。。。。oooh that is so not right I suspect！但是我应该试试，对吧
我觉得以后用’再‘，以前用’又‘ 对不对。
