OK Bob, here's what I got.

1. All correct. And yes, 从头来 means from the beginning.

Thanks for that tal. I've got a busy week coming up, so I probably won't get back to this until next weekend. In any case, I hope to do a few more transcripts over the coming months. This might include tidying up some of Richy's 32 transcripts.

I have added most of your suggestions to my transcript so far. The only one I have trouble accepting is number 13. I really can't hear what you are hearing. I now think that the sentence ends with '你必要 pay attention'. It sounds something like:

所以, 正如我呢说你必要pay attention.

Suŏyĭ, zhèngrú wŏ ne shuō nĭ bìyào pay attention.

but I have no idea what that would mean.

I also think number 3 should be:

其中一个就是踢球。

Also, in number 5, I can really only hear one syllable where you have 所以. It sounds more like 'sui'.

And in number 9, are you sure that is 在 ? Although that would make sense, it sounds more like 'de'.

Anyway, time to start the second half.

Well, I've just checked #13 again and remain certain that my suggested line is correct. Oh wait, I did omit the 嗯 from the very beginning!

#3 - Okaay, on rechecking I'll amend my suggestion to 其中一个就是踢球.

#5 - I stand by my line. 所以 is one of those phrases which tends to get 'squeezed' in the flowing Chinese spoken by natives.

#9 - Yes, I'm sure.

9. - Yes it's 在.

13. - I'm also sure Tal's suggestion is correct. With 时候, as often happens, you don't really get the "h" in 候 and it all sounds like one vowel compound after the "sh". In 你一定要 (again, often hapens) 你 and 一 sound run-on, then it's followed by the clearer "i" in the 定. Jenny says this 你一定要 frequently in lessons. It often sounds like this.

a minor omission here:

15. - 对。但其实不只是这样啊，not only this difference. 那博客是写思想的，微博是分享新鲜事的。

Checked a few of these now:

1. (9:10) 当然你也可以分享一些真的东西。比如说分享一个批萨。

2. (9:24) 哦，对。那个就是共享。比如谷歌docs,对吧。你可以共享。

3. (9:49) 对。那这个新鲜事其实说的就是一些比较新的，或者比较好玩儿你前没有看过没有听过的事情。

4. (10:00) 对。思想就是你脑子里想的，然后通常也可能比较intellectual。然后..

5. (10:09) 对。但是这个新鲜事呢，有可能是那种...... 很 gossipy啊，或者奇怪的事情。一点都不 intellectual。

6. (10:30) 那比如，你买了双运动鞋，你就写‘买了双运动鞋哦，哈哈哈'。

7. (10:56) 对。因为在中文里常常我们说到‘一'什么东西， 比如说‘一双鞋'，‘一杯水'。常常可以办那个一省略不说。

Actually I can't catch the missing word in #15. I have some idea Jenny is doing one of her Chinese+English combinations and is saying “我们 follow 的人”，but I may be mistaken. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks again. It will probably be another week before I get back to it again.

I've now almost finished the transcript thanks to your help. In #11 though, there is something missing between 把 and 一些. It sounds to me like 可能, but that would sound strange to me in that position.

Also, for some reason Jenny won't respond to my message concerning question #13 from my first set of queries. So, I'll have to accept your suggestion despite my reservations. I still think it sounds like 必要 though, which means 'necessary; essential; indispensable; required'.

I just want to add a vocabulary list to the transcript to finish it off.

She says from 7:27 to 7:34 (#13 & #14):

I guess you mean you can hear the second 一定要 and not the first one; they don't sound the same to you. It's true Jenny enunciates more the second time, speaks a lot faster the first time, so they probably sound a bit different.

But "you need to ~" makes a bit more sense here than "it's necessary / essential / indispensable / required that you ~".

At 15:16--you're right, it's 对。但是这里他说的很好。就是你把可能一些特别的事儿推出去让别人看。

It's like we do in English, in informal, free-flowing speaking. We backtrack, insert "maybe"s and "something like", things like that to make our sentences less declarative.
