There's a series of BBC World Service Radio documentaries on China's rising military might on the beeb's world service website. You can download them as MP3's and listen to them between CPod lessons :)

That's pretty interesting stuff... especially the bit about protecting the oil interests and wanting to buy stuff in from the EU.

Christian, somewhere along the line I've had the impression that you speak Danish so you may want to have a look at http://www.dr.dk/ as well. They've done a lot on China this year and I'm sure it's located somewhere on their website. If I had the time I would provide more specific links but I'm up over my head working on my thesis right now...
