Interesting read, Artkho :) I remember hearing or reading somewhere that Coke was originally intended to be a medicinal drink. It does cure underweight, I guess...

When Coca Cola was first invented in the early 1900's, it actually had cocaine in it. It works sometimes at relieving esophageal obstruction.
