Nihao, I am from Seattle, Wa. just started learning Mandarin a couple of months ago with a private teacher once a week, I really like it but have been having problems with sentence structures, I really think if I get the sentence structures down everything will fall into place. Hopefully, ChinesePod will help in this respect, I will be traveling to Shanghai for business in November really looking forward to it.

Nǐhǎo zenmind!

I would suggest you listen to a good range of ChinesePod lessons of your level rather than repeating the same lessons over and over. This is because there's overlap within the levels so you can get used to the same syntax and structures used in different contexts (plus, you'll avoid getting bored this way).

Good luck with it, and do feel free to come visit us in Shanghai when you're here (we love to have visitors!)!
