October 25, 2007, 07:44 PM posted in General DiscussionIn honor of the California Witch fire, CPod should make lessons about:
1.) Fire Safety
and
2.) A Fire emergency (where a house/building is on fire)
我首页自焚了.
Would that be correct for "My home is burning" or would that be "My home has burned"?

October 26, 2007, 12:01 AMI believe the term for "something is on fire" is 着火. If you wanted to say your house had burned down, you could say two things: 我的房子被烧光了. (lit: My house has burned to nothing.) 我的房子被烧成废墟. (lit: My house has burned down to ruins.)
