Hi Mala,

Before our class, I thought I would send my thoughts about the lessons.  The blend of Elementary and Intermediate is very good.  The Intermediate is difficult, which is good because I am very motivated by challenge.  And it's fun to have the easier lesson with it.  May I suggest that I work on 1-2 Elementary each week, along with 1 Intermediate for 2 weeks?  That way, I can absorb the Intermediate without rushing it.

Thank you for the progress report.  I only have one question about that: In the first section, what does "Language use is appropriate for situation (register) mean?"
