Here are four suggestions to help get you started:
1. Visit the "Get Started" page to learn how to make the most of ChinesePod lessons. It's a 10-step guide that shows you the basics.
2. Once you understand this, take a listen to the six Newbie-level intro lessons, which you'll find in your "Lesson List" on the "Home" page. (They should be there if you signed-up as a Newbie learner).
3. You might also want to take a look at our overview of the Chinese language.
4. Lastly, we recommend that you learn pinyin, the Romanized system that helps with pronouncing Chinese characters. "The Pinyin Program" is our 13-lesson series that covers all the tricky sounds of Chinese - a must-listen if you're new to the language!
