Okay so I encountered this sentence

不要为你的美丽伤了我

Looks easy Thinks I knowing all the characters translates to me as

Not want to become your beautiful injured I.

so I think it probably means

I don't want you to hurt me.

I'm not really understanding why the beautiful is in there though, is there a Cheng yu in there That I'm missing or something?

Good morning trevorb,

I think "美丽" here is a noun but not an adjective, so you can't translate it as "beautiful" but "beauty".

And in my opinion, "不要为你的美丽伤了我" can be translated as "Don't hurt me just because of your beauty".

P.S.

I don't think this is a complete sentence. Using "为了" to replacing "为", may be better.

P.S. 2

It's a long time i haven't used English, hopes you can understand my words above without any problem.

你的英语比我的中文多很好,我明白了。 那个句在notice上写的。

nope can't do it.....

The sentence was written on a sign board so its complete but may be abbreviated. I feel its basically saying keep off of the grass......

I would also interpret it as "Don't hurt me for your beauty's sake" (with the '为' pronounced with the fourth tone), which sounds a bit odd to my Western ears. It makes more sense if '美丽' has an additional meaning of "convenience; pleasure", but Nciku has no such meaning. It sounds more like something written on a poster with a cute puppy on it, protesting the use of animal test subjects in the cosmetics industry.

Is it possible that this is an inside joke?  Truly an odd one.
