What is my name in Chinese?

Hello everyone,

I don't quite know how to efficiently search the boards yet and I'm sure this question has been asked but I'd like to know what my name is in Chinese (or what Chinese name would be a good fit for me). A quick Google search reveals that Chinese names are mostly subjective, and there are different ways to assign names. Another source mentions that the PRC has an official way for translating names.

My English name is Brandon Ferguson.

Is http://www.mandarintools.com/chinesename.html a good way to come up with a name or is there something a little more "official?"
