The American Great Depression of 1970s made A&F announce the bankruptcy. In 1988, Limited Corporation bought A&F's marketing department for cheap products. In 1992, the chairman of Limited co. fancied with Jefferies' outstanding intelligent in casual clothing design and employed him which added new life for A & F. From that time on, abercrombie and fitch clothing began to have the vigor of the young. In the eyes of Jeffries, what the consumers want is high quality and the classic American clothing displaying the young states of mind. The word logo in front is embiordered and it is good at absorbing sweat. This design is not only newly fashionable, but raises the feeling of comfortable and suitable while wearing. Abercrombie & Fitch began to transfer itself into a clothes company and has achieved great success for its college student style.
In 1978, Abercrombie is bought by Oshman's sporting goods. In 1988 it was sold to another company,The Limited. By this time, it had become the Abercrombie that we know today, selling clothing. It became a dormant company for a few years and then was spun off from The Limited and became it's own company again, Abercrombie and Fitch. It made a come back and became popular nationwide. Today Abercrombie and Fitch owns several other clothing companies, Hollister Co.,Abercrombie(the kids version of Abercrombie and Fitch), and Ruehl 925, a small clothing store based in New York City's Greenwich village. It is slowly expanding into several other cities.

Hi jeccify - I'm wondering (a whether your first language is English (are you practicising your English?) and, if not, (b why you posted this here?  This is a site for learning Chinese.

BTW, there was no American Great Depression in the 1970s, no Great Depression, no depression in fact.
