What is your favourite Chinese mug? This one gives you something to read: (Periodic table in traditional Chinese^)

I love the old Chinesepod logo. I also miss the old design of the site from when I first joined before moving to version 3.

If I found a T-Shirt or Cup with the OLD LOGO, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. That logo stood out. That logo had class. This one looks like love-child of the Cingular and "Duke", the Java mascot.

Jenny, I think ya'll should start a thread asking poddies to come up with creative sayings/marketing slogans for merchandise. Knowing this group, you'll get some brilliant ideas.

i agree with fudawei about the current merchandise looking to corporate...i think there should be more "chinese looking" stuff...maybe with characters or something

My avatar (which I will hopefully eventually replace some day) still proudly wears an *old* CPod T-Shirt that I won in the 2nd Saturday Show. I will never forget that show. Jenny explained why I am most probably a *Dutch girl* - based on my Chinese name 海宁. Mpmf. But the T-Shirt was worth it, given the collector's value of the nowadays rare V1/V2 style merchandise.

I considered signing up for a year at one crack to get the DVD, but Lordstanley said he never got his mug in a simialr bait and switch deal, so I decided not to. I think "Cpod really owes him a mug now, dont you think? New york Times publicity and looking good too. Maybe the C in cpod stands for "cheap". Send Mike his mug.

Yes, V3 killed the cool CPod logo!!! I never saw a reason why. The new logo needs to be at least wearing a shirt or somethin' with "中文" written on it or something. I would very much like old merchandise too. I have an old logo somewhere on my other computer. will upload it if I remember, but I am sure it is still out there somewhere. Oh wait, here is a screen shot of the good ol' days of V2 and de old logo: As for saying on the mugs, com'on people, it has to be Jenny quotes! Nothing else says ChinesePod as what she adds to the shows in one-liners. :)

dang it... how does one imbed an image? I did regular <img src="..."> tag... grr. It seems it put a <br /> right in the middle of the img tag even though I didn't wrap it. Trying again (but you can click on the above link if this doesn't succeed):

Seeing someone drinking from a mug with only 'visualize my chipmunk' written on would definitely be like a secret handshake of the Cpod community... :-)

WHERE IS THIS "VISUALIZE MY CHIPMUNK" episode? I asked that TWICE on some other thread on best Jenny Zhu quotes and no one would ask me? Was it even a lesson, or on Saturday Show? I don't even know the context it was said in. *sniff* *sniff*

Jenny, did Frank Fradella get a mug when visiting Cpod in the last few days? Or a thong??? RJBerki: Those "curtains" of Henning's look like a scroll painting to me. Maybe, Cpod could do some calligraphy scrolls as giveaways. That way, users could own an original artwork by Jenny Zhu or John Pasden. :)

The old logo was the red cursive 中, framed in a red pod with the characters "pod". Close to those ones: http://blog.praxislanguage.com/2006/11/16/we-need-a-new-logo/ There is no curtain on that picture.
