I see an interesting cultural subject.

头巾 seems to be everything between a scarf and a Hijab.

头饰 may be more elaborate than 头巾 but that's funny how 饰 brings some "napkin" connotation.

bababardwan, you know, all those jewels and pointy things sticking into your head!  I actually found that example sentence online and thought it was too funny not to use.

kimiik, I noticed the same thing while researching 头饰.  Pera-kun popup defines it as "headcloth."
