Can't believe how far "ASMR" has spread. Have to say, I prefer regular, quiet talking to whispers, though... in any case, this has great potential.

I find it funny that "gas" causes so much confusion, bearing in mind that the gas you cook with is, you know, a gas, whereas the stuff you put in a car is a liquid.

Is there a lesson that explains how to tell the hairdresser what you want? Short back and sides, leave a bit of a fringe (bangs) etc? Seems most lessons like this focus on getting you into the chair... but after that... Also there are so many hairdressers here, I can't imagine ever booking an appointment. They're all sat around waiting for something to do. XD

If I had my wallet stolen, I doubt I'd do anything. You'll never see it again.

I loved when the library turned 24 hours during exam period. Used to arrive at 10pm and have most of the floor to myself after a few hours.

I always thought that 'can't fall asleep' was 睡不觉! I really can't distinguish zh and ji without already having some idea which one it should be.

This video is great. Should've known this years ago.

Been teaching dinosaurs at school. 暴龙 is Tyrannosaurus and 雷克斯暴龙 is T-rex. Dinosaurs are much easier in Chinese on the whole though.

But this policy would reduce the population in countries that are stable... and wouldn't solve the global issue anyway...

I can't navigate airports in my own country, let alone China. Over complicated nonsense.
