John, thanks for looking into having the chart for offline study. I find being able to sit down and study when I am not online helps me learn.

Is there a regular PDF of the 16 part pronunciation chart?  I tried to screen capture it, for my offline study, but the light gray text in the middle makes it very difficult to read.  Would appreciate a file where I can make the middle text dark black.

The PDF file has the translation of "zhen bu cuo" as "You look pretty good". It would be better for you to show students "Really, not bad". This English phrase will be closer to the way it appears in Chinese, and will be more memorable. As a beginner with about 7 months of classes in New Jersey (US) using the Integrated Chinese text, I can tell you that they use a similar approach and it does not help us learn. If Chinese "A" can be closely translated to English "B", then do not use an equivalent English phrase "C". Especially when phrase "C" is translated into Chinese "D", and "D" is not the same as "A". There is probably a principal here which states "if you take the high road and I take the low road, we ought to end up in the same place". I absolutely love the materials you have created to help people like me. Great job.
