December 14, 2011 at 11:51 AMThis is possibly OT.
After one year of study I noticed that 那,哪,can also be prononced as nèi/něi further than nà and nǎ... I noticed it when I was in China, also in some movie, but I always supposed it was a matter of heavy accent or dialect. But now I found this wrote in the image, and after searching I also found it in the dictionary...
My question is, how common is the nei pronounce instead of na?
Thanks from 意大利!

October 19, 2011 at 6:49 AMOver than wai and nei, here is also a distinction between northern (北拳) and southern (南拳) style as well. While northern people was strong in legs cause they were mainly sheppard (in fact they emphasize kick, jumps and movement), in the south the were mainly fisherman, so strong arms and stable legs.
Ciao from Italy!
