Is it preferred to say 有帮助 or 有助 when expressing gratitude for someone's assistance?

Great lesson Josh and Jessica! I am glad you have added the "pre-intermediate" level. Two quick questions for the team:

1) What is the difference between '读' and '写 功课' or even '写 作业'? Is one more colloquial than the others?

2) Josh used the term '完成' in this lesson? I am not familiar with it. I previously have learned '我 + verb +  完 + le.' Is this a colloquial way to say "I'm done." that can be used for all types of actions? For example, if my boss asks me if I am done with a report, can I simply respond, '我 完成 了.' I suspect both ways are correct...just trying to understand any subtle differences.

Excellent lesson today. Now I have a better understanding of how to use 'le' for completed actions that will occur in the future. I also appreciate the additional examples at the end of the lesson. These are great!
