December 13, 2017 at 11:51 AMVery interesting video. This guy is impressive. Lots of ideas to improve the learning process. It would also be great if we had the option to see the subtitles in simplified mandarin characters. Is it something that Chinese Pod is considering adding in the future?

January 12, 2017 at 11:12 AMHi Aerylis, I recommend watching Viki (free-of-charge). They have some cool (not too girly) shows. You can try 'Young Sherlock'. 'Nirvana in Fire' or 'Candle in the Tomb'. I wish you enjoy! :)

September 4, 2016 at 1:10 PMHi, I have tested some good resources to read Chinese. There is the 'Chinese Breeze' graded reader collection (http://www.chinesebreeze.net/). There are also the mandarin Companion books (http://mandarincompanion.com/). they are available on Amazon kindle. Also, I found great websites or apps for beginners or early readers like myself. I particularly like Decipher Chinese: http://app.decipherchinese.com/ I also enjoy DU Chinese (https://www.duchinese.net/). I agree that a reading list or a reading part to ChinesePod would be a great addition to this already amazing site!

August 2, 2016 at 1:03 PMHi guys. Great video and lesson as usual! Keep up the good work! As a side comment one of the best sites to learn the guitar is Ultimate Guitar (https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/). You can find lots of great tablatures there. The best program for tablatures may be "Guitar Pro". It works on tablets, iPhones, etc. It makes guitarists' life so easy. This is great help and I wished this existed when I started twenty years ago...:)
