Joy: with those language skills, any airline that flies between China or Taiwan to the US or Great Britain would hire you as a flight attendant in a heartbeat. Personally I hope you stay right where you are on Chinese Pod.

I have traveled to both China and Taiwan for work on several occasions. A very common encounter with the character 出 is 安全出口 which you will see in hotels, restaurants and airplanes marking the emergency or "safety" exits. So my memory trick has been someone running out the door in an emergency with arms flailing.

I like this Character Mind Map series a lot. In a previous life I used to teach music, and I learned that different people learn in different ways. And this method definitely works for the way my brain functions.
