January 7, 2019 at 3:16 PMThe exercise section for this lesson is broken (or maybe all exercise sections are broken at the moment?). When I submit my answers my score is 0 and instead of seeing what I have done wrong there are just entries like "null/null points".

August 31, 2018 at 3:10 AM谢谢, looking forward to that.
Here is an example of a lesson that handles it this way:
https://chinesepod.com/lessons/did-it-rain-yesterday
It also plays the dialog three times, which is helpful as well.
I often need to stop for a moment to recall the meaning of a specific character or word, so these few extra seconds make a great difference. Usually the first time I focus on one speaker and when the dialog is played again on the other.
With dialog played just once and with faster disappearing subtitles I need to pause and replay. This is doable but it is so much more convenient when video format and editing already takes this in consideration.
Finally, feedback that was also given for some older lessons was not to add English translations the first time the dialog is played. This way one can try harder to figure out the meaning by oneself first.

August 27, 2018 at 5:28 AMIn the new video lessons subtitles disappear as soon as the next line is delivered (i.e. next line subtitle covers the previous one). It makes the dialogue much harder (and unpleasant) to follow.
This was not the case in the older videos, were usually subtitles would stay on the screen for at least one extra line giving enough time to read through.
Could you get back to keeping subtitles visible longer as before?
