When a third tone word like mai買 or wo我in these examples is at the start of the sentence, I don't hear the uprising part at the end, it seems like they just flow into the next syllable from the low point. However, when she recites the word in isolation it sounds like it does have a rise at the end. Am I the only one confused by this?
