However the problem is that the it introduces new sentences, it does not review the just seen material, so instead of helping to fix the new words or sentences, it gives new ones.
In any case, it was just a suggestion, if you dont like, dont worry.

I have a suggestion for improving the way ChinesePod teaches us Mandarin.
I have been studying Polish for a while (as well as Mandarin) and my teacher has a wonderful idea that helps a lot for memorizing the words and sentences and simultaneously improves the speaking of learners.
I believe it is suitable just for beginners and elementary level.
After a short lesson as this one, instead of the normal fix, it would be great if there were a series of answers and replies, with a short time for the student to reply.
An example: (everything in mandarin of course)
Topic: Hai Nan de dongtian leng ma?
A. In Hai Nan is winter or spring
R. Now is winter in Hai Nan
A. Winter is very cold in Hai Nan
R. No, it is not so cold
A. Winter in Hai Nan is very cold or not so cold
R. Winter in Hai Nan is not so cold
I have used this method for learning Polish and it has improved my speaking abilities quite a lot.
In fact, I am now able of speaking very fluently with real world Polish speakers.
I think this would greatly improve our learning experience.

I am thinking of flash cards but perhaps there is something better?
