In the second last expansion sentence, why is 过 doubled up?

I have a question about saving the text version of the lesson and the text version of the Expansion.

A couple of weeks ago I was saving these on Firefox as text files.

Now when I try to say them as text files, they are saved as a webpage where the characters are nonsense. My only option seems to be to copy and paste the page into a new Notepad file.

When I switch to Chrome, I am not even given an option to save as a text file.

Have you made any changes to this in the last couple of weeks?

I believe that the lessons themselves are better than John & Jenny days. But I believe their level placement is now way off. I even think the Elementary lessons are now too difficult, with the pace and amount of material too difficult for Elementary learners. They would be better as the long sought after "Low Intermediate".

Thanks for that. I wasn't seeing that in Firefox and had to switch to Chrome. Is there a reason for that?
