Could someone tell me the difference between using “新” Xīn and "新来得“ Xīn láide before a noun?

Yes, I too have said I changed jobs but also have said I have gotten a new job. Oh, is "gotten" a word. Probably not. I can't speak English very well. Nonetheless, this lesson is really great. Really helpful with the "le" word and the "bu shi.... ma" construction.

In your grammar section on Jia 家 it has this example: "这家店的咖啡不好和" (coffee at this place is really lousy). It says Jia 家 is a measure word that modifies families and businesses.

家 (jiā) is a measure word that modifies families and businesses. Some examples include: companies, banks, shops, movie theaters, restaurants, post offices, hospitals, and so on. - See more at: http://chinesepod.com/lessons/restaurant-recommendation#grammar-tab

In this lesson's expansion section it has this example: "听说这个店的牛肉面很好吃" (I've heard this shop's beef noodles are really tasty)。

Is there a reason that “店” （shop）is modified in the first example by “家” and in the second example by “个”？ Or is the measure word interchangeable in this case? If so, are these two measure words interchangeable in cases of all businesses and also family?
