April 03, 2009, 03:22 AMI'm having some trouble with the "Listen and Type" exercise for this lesson. Question two is:
______远,我不去了。
I've tried "zhe4me" and "zhe4 me" but these are both wrong. Same thing for question three - I thought the answer was "hu2tu" but apparently not.

March 30, 2009, 05:26 AMThe activity stream is so good. I've read on the blogs of a few learners of Mandarin that Twitter and its clones are ideal for learning so it's great to see CPod incorporate this. Sometimes I can't get over how good CPod is! I'm looking forward to more great developments.
I was wondering today if we could have a new exercise in the vocabulary section, to go with the flashcards and concentration game. It's already used as an exercise for each lesson - the game where you have to join up each hanzi with its English meaning. Could this be set up to use our personal vocab lists (and also let us match hanzi to pinyin)?
Posted on: Does it Have Bones?
March 30, 2009, 04:42 AMI can cope with bones and quite enjoy trying to eat off them using chopsticks. But I just can't eat entrails, feet, ears etc. It just seems wrong to have a stomach in your stomach or intestines in your intestines...

Posted on: Hong Kong Visa Run
April 13, 2009, 06:20 AMThis is a great lesson. I wasn't too bothered about learning the actual visa vocabulary, but I learnt / reinforced a lot of useful structures. The extension and exercises were great too.
