Posted on: Driving in China
December 11, 2011 at 4:49 AMHave to say I am one of the foreigners driving in China! Once I hit the roads I saw more and more 外国人behind the wheel. Actually last month saw a foreigner pulled over to the side of the road sorting out a little crash. It's not as bad or scary as people think it is. The worst drivers are the inexperienced ones who driver really slow and stop in the middle of the road.... This upper intermediate is quite hard, I am returning to my intermediate lesson for the time being!

August 17, 2011 at 8:21 AM分手 Is quite sad in real life. I was visiting a friend, and I guess she had just broken up with her boyfriend... I mentioned in english "your broken up?? like 分手??” And when I said that she nearly started to cry . . . I must be careful when I just utter the words I know simply because I know them oops.

June 30, 2011 at 2:41 AMThis is such convenient timing. I just started driving in China, its like re-learning how to drive from the west but have been yelling out "你没长眼睛!?" Which makes my boyfriend laugh and ususally makes me feel better about all the people who cut in and out of lanes all the time.

May 5, 2011 at 5:20 AMChinesepod, Have I ever mentioned you are GREAT. This makes me feel so much better now! I found this through checking out the blog... Heading to China on a tourist visa and will be open to any teaching jobs I might find in 3 months.
Over Christmas I had little teaching sessions with my boyfriends staff and it was a lot harder than I thought to teach my native language! So helpful though thanks again.

April 26, 2011 at 11:47 PMWhen I heard the topic of this discussion on my Ipod today I had to do a little happy dance while I working!! I am moving to Shanghai in September to study Chinese and I am very nervous/excited/happy/sad/thrilled. So I was really stoked to hear Michaels side of the story about his experience. 我爱Chinesepod!!
