I was referring to the parents who brought their children home everyday as the non-lazy example. So, some parents only see their child 1 day a week. But xiao_liang, very often that is the case, and the staff at our school are wonderful people and the students are cared for very well.

I work at an international Kindergarten in China. Parents spend quite a lot of money to send their children there. Some of the students board at the school. This has made me quite sad on many occassions because to me, leaving your 2 year old child in the hands of strangers 6 days  week guarantees that the child will not receive the amount of love it deserves. I see it everyday, these children are absolutely desperate for love and attention. My thoughts before were that these parents are lazy.(because some parents bring their children home everyday after school!) Is it wrong for me to judge these parents? Is it just a cultural difference I can't appreciate? 井底之蛙吗？

Hello, 

I would love to know how to compliment someone on a good shot. Or how to say "nice par". I will be playing golf for the first time in China this weekend and would like to be able to make a good impression on the guys I am playing with.
