Adding 了 at the end doesn't sound so natural in this response, and changes the meaning slightly by changing what you're trying to emphasise. As you probably know, 了 can mean having done (completed) something. So adding it after 带 (bring) verb is to emphasise that it's lucky that you did the thing, i.e. that you brought the umbrella. I wouldn't feel like there's something else to say after it. It kind of gives the sense that the speaker was uncertain whether to bring an umbrella today but she's happy she did bring it after all given the sudden rain.
Adding it 了 the end, is to emphasis the fact that you (already) brought an umbrella, i.e the whole action. It would probably be used more if someone was saying that it might rain today, and you reply with "没事，我带雨伞了” to say something like "No matter, I already brought an umbrella" to emphasise that entire action already happened (earlier).
So in the above scenario, based on the conversation it would be more natural to add 了 after 带 because she's trying to emphasise that she's lucky she brought it along, rather than saying she's lucky she already brought an umbrella earlier. It's very subtle but I hope that makes sense.
