While we tend to follow the same rules and the standard Mandarin Chinese, the accuracy of pronunciation varies from different Chinese speaking communities. It is quite common to hear different accents, pronunciations, and ways of saying the same word throughout China and other Chinese speaking areas. And to answer your question, I am from the South!! Take a guess!!
