Hi ezwig, Let's start with 的确. When you're using the word 的确, you are confirming the situation and assuming that the fact is undoubtedly correct. For example,

他的确不想出门, in this sentence, we've already known that both the speaker acknowledged that the person does not want to go out, so he/she is reconfirming the fact of 他不想出门.

Here's another example,虽然这些直升机父母对孩子很严格，但是的确，都是因为他们希望孩子成功。We can see from this sentence when using the word 的确, it is reemphasizing the thoughts what helicopter parents have when it comes to parenting. If we replace it with 其实,

虽然这些直升机父母对孩子很严格，但是其实，都是因为他们希望孩子成功。which means, "Actually they do it because they want their kids to succeed." There is a totally opposite underlying message that is readers do not understand why these helicopter parents are so strict to their kids in the first place, so while explaining it, we use 其实。
