The Traditional Characters version of the transcript won't download to iTunes. Is there a link I can download it from?

Jenny - I have to say that my mother talks affectionately about my exes all the time and has actually stayed in touch with one or two of them. But then, perhaps my mother is a little bit "non-mainstream"

Sorry! That first sentence should read: "I was using the Concise Oxford Dicitionary which gives "gesticulate" as the meaning of 比画."

Thanks! I was using the Concise Oxford Dicitionary which gives "gesticulate" as the meaning of. I have now checked my other main dictionary (Cheng & Tsui) which gives the correct form - 比划.This shows the value of having real live Chinese speakers to fill in the gaps, and also shows that I should be sceptical about my Oxford Chinese Dictionary!!!

In the phrase 比手划脚 could the third character also be written 画 as in 比画 "gesture"? Jenny was implying that there is a connection between the two expressions.
