I have question about the 4th sentence of the grammar section: 这两样东西其实是一样的只是包装不同了。What does the 罢 mean here? Thanks.

You suggest the third tone for the 会儿 in the second sentence of the dialogue. Shoudn't it be the fourth tone? Thanks.

Thanks, but I doubt it. 让。。。给 is a passive construction and to me 我 seems to be the subject of that: I was made angry by him.

"我让他给气死了。" is the last sentence of your grammar section. Your translation is "I made him really angry." Shouldn't it be the other way round?: He made me really angry? Thanks.

What is the differende between the following sentences (the first one is from the last section of the expansion part)?:

迁徙 is first and second tone in the dialogue and vocabulary list. My dictionaries says first and third tone. Is both possible?

Thanks

I have a question about this sentence (last one in the grammar part):

这两天我实在抽不出时间来。

抽时间 alone means "to take time", so why do you need 出来 here? And could you also say 这两天我抽得出时间来?

Thanks!

Thanks for your insightful explanations! It helps me to win the everlasting fight with the Chinese sentence structures and omissions ...

I will also follow your advice and cite entire sentences in the future.

Regarding the dialogue I got two grammar questions, may be one of you has the time to comment on it.

1. 海洋公园才玩了。。。, the English translation uses "at" to indicate the location, why does the Chinese sentence does not do that and can we always use this structure: 上海我住了。。。etc.

2. 什么都要赶,玩要赶..., if I get it right, 要赶 means "we have to hurry", but whereas English uses a whole sentence "We have to hurry when we enjoy ourselves", Chinese just uses the verb and 要赶。 Can you explain that?

Thanks in advance!
