for what its worth, out of the few hundred i've already listened to, i think this is my favorite chinese pod lesson. the vocabulary had a nice mix of topical every day words. while they lesson was about a serious subject matter, the characters were still kinda cute. (the bio-warrior going out to buy soy sauce was a nice touch.) i also liked the interview at the end. anyway kudos.

Maybe this is a series about two intrepid Chinese journalists working in the US, thus avoiding any cultural misunderstandings that might result from a middy controversial (but really quite useful) chinesepod series. After all, quite a bit of graft, double dealing, bribery, nepotism, intimidation, and general corruption goes on in the US too.
